In order to check-in, take into account the following:

1. What documents do I need in order to fly?

The necessary documents to fly are the following:

• Ecuadorian Adults and *Andean Pact countries: Ecuadorian ID or passport
• Ecuadorian children and Andean Pact countries (Between 2 and 11 years old): Ecuadorian ID or passport
• Infants (less than 2 years old): Birth Certificate
• Foreign Adults, children and infants: Passport

       *Venezuela, Colombia. Peru and Bolivia.

NOTICE:

According to the new Colombian Law, starting on January 1st, 2010, the only valid Colombian ID in order to leave the country is the new Colombian ID, which is yellow and has an hologram. If the passenger still does not have the new ID, he/she should identify him/herself with the old ID and the document that was given to him/her during the process of applying for the new ID. This document should have a picture, a fingerprint, and a signature of the registrar. We should also point out that Colombians cannot travel if the passenger ONLY has the old ID.

 

2. How much time in advance should I show up at the airport?

Domestic Flights
1 hour in advance
Flights to/from Galapagos 2 hours in advance
Flights to /from Cali, Colombia
2 hours 30 minutes in advance

3. What is the baggage allowance?

The allowed baggage for our flights is the following:
Carry-on baggage
7 kg. Size 24 x 16 x 10 inches
Checked baggage
20 kg

Excess baggage fee: 1% of Y fare plus VAT per kilo.

Important Baggage:

Do not pack any valuable objects or documents (cash, checks, jewerly, electronic articles, cameras, negotiable documents and other valuables) in your check-in baggage, theft, o loss of the baggage, the airline shall not be liable for any of these valuables or objects unless their value was declared and the corresponding insurance was purchased. Rights and obligations of air transportation passengers, CONSEJO NACIONAL DE AVIACION CIVIL.

4. What should I do if I need special assistance?

If you require special assistance for elderly people, unaccompanied minors or pregnant women and you did not ask for it when making your reservation, you should show up at the airport some time prior to departure. Our counter staff will offer you the service you need.

5. What should I do in case I lose my ticket?

Don't worry, you get an e-ticket when making the purchase and is kept in our system. You just have to sh

ow your ID at Tame counter and you are ready to travel.
