TAME completes its fleet renewal process with modern aircrafts


newplane_pequenoThe new Airbus A320 arrived to the country on August 25, 2009. Its registration is HC-CID. The new aircraft is going to replace the last Boeing B727-200 that went off duty on June. It will conduct domestic and international operation.

Airbus A320 is equipped with IAE engines, stage four that minimize pollution and reduce the noise. It is also equipped with advanced technology which includes a TCAS system to alert the crew about possible collisions, EGWS system to alert the crew of incoming ground obstacles, RVSM system to precise vertical separation. It is also equipped with electronic flight instruments (EFIS), liquid glass screens, a very comfortable cabin.

Tame, Airline of Ecuador, received IATA Certificate

certicado_iata2_peqOn November 23rd, at the Mariscal Sucre's airport facility, the Vice-president of the International Air Transport Association, IATA, in Latin America, Mr. Patricio Sepúlveda handed in the certificate that proves Tame, Airlines of Ecuador, which is represented by its CEO, General Brigader (sp) Gustavo Cuesta Moscoso, to be a member of this regulator organization.


This important event, in the aero commercial area, places the airline in the International spot of the well-known air transportation companies for the fulfillment of the highest standards that the industry demands.
